Your GRE and TOEFL should be good and valid for Fall-18 applications. Needn't to write again.
Hello @anikatekaw ! I've a similar profile. I'm also working in Wipro VLSI division since April 2017. Maybe we can meet up and plan together ? Call me if you're interested. +91-9449549068

Hi,
I was hoping you could give me some pointers regarding university selection.
Sorry, I'm not from EEE/ECE. Please wait for others to respond.
Great GRE; very good GPA. Overall, very competitive profile........
4 ranked, 4 moderate and 2-3 safe bets.

Ambi--
UCSD
UT Austin
UCLA
CMU (tough)...... Better chance at Penn State

Moderate--
TAMU
UCI
UC Davis
ASU

Safe--
UTD
CSU Long Beach
VTech (Safe????? NO...........)
OSU (Safe????? No..........)

VTech would be ambi-mod at best, and OSU (assuming this is Ohio State) would be mod at best. And I'd drop UC Davis and replace it with UMN. Also replace CSULB with something better such as NEU/GMU as a 3rd safe.

Thanks for the input. I was wondering whether csulb will offer me better intern opportunities because of its location ?

No, CSULB isn't necessarily going to do you any favors just because it's in California. Doesn't work that way. Read through the threads I've pointed to in point #2 below, by clicking on the words "this" in red.
