Hi,

Profile Snapshot:
-5 years of Core analytics experience in Analytics( Mu sigma, Affine & UIDAI, govt of India)
-GMAT-690( V34 Q49)
-CGPA: 8.7/10 from VIT Vellore(Btech, Electrical and Electronics engineering)
-Applying to these 5 colleges:
Georgia Tech - MS in analytics
CMU- MIS-BIDA (Analytics program)
UIC - MS in analytics
UConn - MS in analytics
University of Cincinnati - MS in business analytics

Please let me know:
1. what are my chances for Georgia Tech & CMU?
2. Do i have added advantage of core analytics work experience?
3. Should i take recommendation letter from college or from my work place?

1. what are my chances for Georgia Tech & CMU?
Moderate to ambitious programs. If the pool is small, you can get in. But highly competitive.
2. Do i have added advantage of core analytics work experience?
In CS & MBA type programs, they do consider that. But that has to show in strong reccos and your essay.

3. Should i take recommendation letter from college or from my work place?

Professors (at least 1-2); 1 from industry.

You need at least 8 programs. Add 2-3 moderate programs like U Arizona, etc....

Consider NCSU, Cornell and a safe-mod school like UNC Charlotte.
