No, but my recent project(Computer Network Traffic Attack Classifier) has the potential to convert into a paper.
That's great, but frankly, that isn't equal to a published paper. So, with that in mind, I wouldn't recommend applying to the MS in CS programs at UIUC, UMass and UT Austin.

1. Carnegie Mellon - MCDS, MSBIC, MIIS - pick one program to apply to
2. Georgia Institute of Technology - mod-ambi
3. University of Massachusetts Amherst - ambi, as said above, I'd recommend dropping this
4. University of Texas at Austin - ambi, as said above, I'd recommend dropping this
5. University of Southern California - mod-safe
6. University of California,San Diego - mod-ambi
7. Columbia University - mod-ambi
8. University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign - ambi, as said above, I'd recommend dropping this
9. New York University(Courant School) - mod
10. University of California,Irvine - mod
11. University of Pennsylvania - mod-ambi
12. University of Maryland - College Park - ambi, as said above, I'd recommend dropping this
The_Observer Thanks. , can you please suggest some safe or mod-safe ones also and shouldn't USC be mod-ambi , since it give more preference to CGPA?

Personally, I think you have a good enough list there as it is, and you should probably cut down on it, rather than add on top of it. Also, as far as USC is concerned, yes, while they do look at GPAs, (a) yours isn't too low, and (b) they are more GPA-centric when it comes to doctoral admissions, rather than MS admissions, and while they are indeed very erratic at times, the fact that their MS costs 2 arms and a leg means that they generally are a little lenient when it comes to their MS admissions, from what I've seen in the past.

Congrats on your scores Smile

I agree with T_O. While your profile has a lot of good points, there are no knock out points. I would suggest you to 2 more mods and a safe. Your profile sits on the border, and the decision can go either way. If it goes for you, congrats, if not you need to be prepared with a backup.

All the best, my friend Very Happy
