Please take all the self-categorization out of your post. It might be misleading for other applicants.

University of California, Berkeley - ambi
University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign - ambi
Georgia Institute of Technology - ambi
University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) - ambi
University of Michigan, Ann Arbor - ambi
Carnegie Melon University - ambi
University of Texas, Austin - ambi
Purdue University - ambi
Cornell University - ambi
University of Southern California - safe-mod
Texas A&M University, College Station - ambi
University of California, Santa Barbara - mod-ambi
University of California, San Diego - mod-ambi
University of Pennsylvania - mod-ambi
North Carolina State University - mod
University of Minnesota, Twin Cities - mod
Columbia University - mod-ambi
Ohio State University - mod-safe
Pennsylvania State University - mod-ambi
Arizona State University - safe

Your list is too top-heavy. Cut down a few from the ambi and mod categories. While you're at it, do go through the univ websites and comb through the coursework offered and research being conducted at each school you're thinking of applying to, before you give us the next iteration of your list. We're not counsellors, you're prospective grad students. Act like it, do the legwork on your own, and get your list down to only those schools you'd really like to apply to, instead of throwing random names from some ranking you find online.

Thank you for your analysis @[The_Observer] and my apologies for the self-categorization[Removed from OP]. About the list. I have done my initial research and do have some favourites amongst the ones I mentioned but I thought putting my possible options here. So that, I can alter my choices according to how achievable these colleges are. Will surely refine my list. Thanks again.

Thank you @[harikkrishna] for your analysis.

In My college, the Topper's grade was 86%. So, don't the universities evaluate percentages based on previously admitted candidates of the same college?

Of the same university, not necessarily of the same college.
