nimishpande No. Everything has to be uploaded online. Please update your InfoBank using this guide before asking further queries.

Yes. It affects your application to a large extent.
Read Post#1 completely to know what is the weightage given to the courses in the course comparison list.

I have 170 in quant in GRE and 5 out of 7 courses match in the comparison list.
Do i stand a chance for auto?

Read the first post of the thread and you will find the answer.
Having 170 is definitely a big plus. You will get 1,0 in the GRE portion of the score (which accounts for 55% of the overall points). Regarding the two courses that do not match, you can fill in subjects which have some similarities to the ones mentioned in the course comparison list. You have to anyways attach the detailed description of the courses in your application.

All the best!

There aren't any courses at all that match the remaining two. Does it hamper my chances?

@nishant1 I'd recommend you read through nimbus_2000s thread from previous year. All your current questions have been answered in elaborate detail there.

@nimbus_2000
My course requirement covers only dynamics of machinery, transmission, automobile and maybe fluid(as a cover for auto aero). I have uploaded work experience letters, letters of recommendation, BAJA,FSAE etc. which indicates work in vehicle dynamics and systems integration specifically. Any idea if this would compensate for the low coverage of courses required?

I would recommend that you try to fill all the courses in the course comparison list. Work ex letters and projects won't compensate for it as the university checks whether your Bachelor's course makes you eligible to participate in the Masters program.

Guys

I have got Masters admission in FH Aachen beginning this winter 2014. I have been asked to submit German B1 language certificate to the university in person from 8th Sep 2014 - 19th Sep 2014.

I am currently holding Goethe A2 German Language certificate. I am planning to take super intensive B1 German course beginning this July 2014 in Goethe Institute-Bangalore. But this course ends on 13th Aug 2014.

I wish to apply for visa before this date. In this case, I wish to know, what documents should i submit to process my visa.

Even I am prepared myself to do the German language B1 course in Germany, on conditions that i am being allowed to do.

Currently i don't know how to proceed this. Kindly provide your valuable suggestion to solve this issue.

Expecting your answer

Thanks & Regards
J V Muralimohan

Welcome to Edulix and congratulations on your admit.
First task on Edulix before asking any queries or posting is to fill in your Infobank completely including Univs Applied and Misc details. The tutorial for doing that can be found in my signature.
After doing that, we will answer all your queries and also please tell us which course have you gotten into.
