Can you create create a thread for Bangalore consulate, like the ones in the above post?

I think you are one of the active members who completed this procedure form Bangalore. It will be great if it comes from you...

Hi all,

I hope this is an appropriate thread to discuss this issue. If this is not the case, kindly suggest other threads.

The problem is reg Blocked Account Attestation Location.

I have got admit from University of Stuttgart.

My permanent address is at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. I also did my studies in TN.

But currently I am working in Calcutta. I wish to apply for visa from Chennai only, since I will be transferred back to Chennai by June. Can I get my Blocked Account App attestation done at Kolkata?

I hope that will not be an issue/hindrance to my applying for Visa at Chennai.

It will not be a problem. Just go ahead with getring attestation from Kolkata consulate. This will not make any problem with visa application at chennai. ATB.

I did not personally fill up this form, since this form filling process was done by a Deutsche Bank Mumbai official because I had opened the blocked account through the local Deutsche Bank.
The answers to your query( To the best of my knowledge):
1. The address should be your present one, not the prospective one in Germany.
2. I'm not sure about it.. wait for other seniors' replies

Other tips:
1. Make sure this is the latest version of the blocked account form, because many students from my university had sent the outdated version of the form and thus they had to redo all that process again. The updated version of the form contains a line about "Whether USA citizen Yes/No" (Read about this on our university whatsapp group)

2. Do fill in the fields regarding your university and prospective town of residence in Germany. So your blocked account will be opened at a branch nearest to your university.

P.S Wait for others to reply for your query NO.2
Good luck!

Threads merged.
1. You have to fill your Indian address.
2. It refers to the amount of money (670 Euros) you can withdraw from your account each month. You can keep it blank. If you want to withdraw more than that amount, you can deposit more than 8040 Euros. The extra amount can be withdrawn irrespective of the monthly limit. Also make sure to submit so ~50 Euros extra as DB might charge you for opening the account. Otherwise you might not receive any email confirmation from them.

Please update your Infobank section regarding the university and the course for which you have secured an admit.

BTW my intention of going through the local DB was that I saved the consulate attestation charges and the courier charges of sending the documents to Germany myself for the blocked account opening.

where should I send documents for opening block account.
I guess there are two address one is
Deutsche Bank
Privat- und Geschäftskunden AG
Ausländische Studenten
04024 Leipzig
Deutschland/Germany

and other is

Deutsche Bank Privat- und Geschäftskunden AG
Spezialservice Ausländische Studenten
Alter Wall 53
20457 Hamburg
Germany

I am having doubt in Leipzig address as it does not show in any maps.
I will be using fedex for sending this set of documents as student offer is no valid for this one.

If any one has sent recently can you confirm with Leipzig address.

Sorry for late reply. If it helps anymore, you have to fill up the Indian address. And you can send it to either. I had sent it to Leipzig. Also, in future, you receive all the DB letter from Leipzig, so it should be valid.
