I have only 67.3 % aggregate (ECE) but 1 year experience in the field of Control and Instrumentation. Have I any chance with this low aggregate ?

Well, it has been indeed really competitive this year, however, you can always take a chance, and apply to quite a number of unis. Your relevant work ex can turn out to be crucial. You can try and convert your percentage to german grading system here. If it is coming to less than 2.4, you are in for a chance in few universities, according to my experience.

Having said this, I think you are yet to write GRE (can increase your chance) and TOEFL/IELTS. Also, you havent mentioned about your projects and publications. Hence, I just gave you a rough idea.

Thanks for the reply. I converted my percentage to German grade and it comes out to be 2.64. Now i'm in a real fix as I was only going to apply to TU Braunschweig (Electronic systems in automotive engineering, aerospace).

If I am not mistaken, that course is completely in German Language. What is the level of your German?

I started learning already. Very Happy
I think I'll be late in applying for winter semester 2015 even if I manage to get my German certification (requires DSH 2) in the next 6 months.

How long do you think it will take to get B2.2 + GRE (good score) ?

NikhilSaini: If you have begun with German, then it is a really good thing. You'll have better options of course selection and chances than your fellow applicants.

For further discussion and specific queries please come up with a Profile Evaluation Thread in line with this.

Tag relevant seniors using this.

Good Luck!!

rons05.somani If you tag more than 5 people at once, none of them will get notified.

That being said, did you check the DAAD website? You can search for specific keywords and then check out the course contents to see if they match your interest or not.
