Drop TAMU, NCSU, SBU. Rest are achievable.

Not very active due to work commitments. Please explore this site and then tag.

I don't think you need more than one LoR from the workplace. Stick to your original plan of getting two from your University and one strong as big says in the above post.

Stony Brook would be very tough, jainul9168. And I'd also say take out Syracuse and UNCC. Keeping 2-3 max SAFE universities in the list should be more than enough.

I am planning to apply for 7-8 universities in US from my list and would like to have atleast 2-3 of them in Safe range. Rest of them i am willing to take my chances for a possibility of a good admit for my profile.

Thanks Again!

Financial point of view.
1. TAMU CS
2. UTD
3. NCSU
4. ASU
5. UNCC
6. SJSU -> San Jose. Do research on cost of living there.
7. USC -> Located in downtown LA. Definitely the most expensive in your list. Its worth it, but I am not positive about the funding there. Its upto you to decide whether you want to apply there or not.
8. STONY Brook
9. Sunny Buffalo
10.CU Boulder
11. Syracuse -> expensive.
12. UFL
13.IUB

I don't see any funding option in any of the univs in the first sem (or atleast a year).

A honest feedback is the biggest gift. You can give here if you wish
Tag me if FINANCIAL AID is the top constraint !!! I welcome the PM also.

Can I consider Ohio State University in my Ambitious University List?
Is there at least 40-50% chance?? Or it would be super ambitious?

It is still a chance, not Cornell level hard but I would say achievable enough.
