German language requirement _ TUM, RWTH aachen , U of Stuttgart

Hi,
I am planning to apply to TUM, Rwth aachen and university of Stuttgart.

Regarding TUM and university of Studguart, they have asked to submit a C1 proficiency in German language certificate by the end of application period (for the program that I am interested in).
I have not started to learn German language.

What would be the suggestion to me ? Is it possible to get to C1 in 3 months?
Is it the same for all German universities that the applicant should have C1 proficiency before the application submission?

Thank you

Hi alwaysalearner

Well, providing a C1 certificate in 3 months is logistically impossible. C1 is only required for Masters programs whose language of instruction is German.

There are many English language Masters programs too. But, you will have to search for them in your field of interest through the DAAD database.

And German language proficiency is usually not expected in the English language courses. Many of my friends have started learning German after coming here only.

Hope this helps.
