Guys Please help me out:
I have secured an admission For MS in embedded systems at Advanced Learning and Research Institute( ALARI ) affiliated to (USI) Switzerland. The Fees here are pretty low as compared to the US counterparts(UNCC).The Course work and the professors are also good at USI. What are your thoughts for MS in Switzerland vs MS in the USA considering the job prospects?. Can international students get jobs after completing their studies? I have tried to update my profile but still its not getting reflected in edulix.Sorry for the inconvenience.

GRE 311 Q161 v151
Tfl 100
Ug:74% Goa university
1 international paper
3 years of work experience in the embedded domain.

ALARI seems to have a great coursework. it also looks like the professors actually come from other Euro programs and teach a course or two in a rotation. Most of the programs are the top programs in Europe.

There is no data I could find on employment; but Switzerland has some opportunity with better opportunities being in Germany, of course.

Again, because you have linked this thread instead of your unisearch profile, we can't see the other programs you had applied. For now, I will pick UNCC over ALARI.

Cheers

EE

Thank you for your quick reply. The problem with the unisearch profile is that when I go to edit my profile it displays all the information correctly but after submitting if I paste the link in the browser all the fields are erased.

Currently, I have following admits for embedded systems :
UNCC
Univesity of texas Arlington
California State university Sacramento
Uppsala university Sweeden
University of Twente Netherlands
ALARI
Results awaiting:
ASU
Virginia Tech
KTH Sweeden (waitlisted).

The total cost attendance at ALARI will be roughly around 26lks. I was really fascinated by the coursework and the professors.

Is it worth selecting ALARI for UNCC for Embedded systems?

Can you tag any relevant seniors if they can help out?

Thanks for the help.

Small piece of advice. Germany has a lot more job opportunities than Switzerland as far as embedded systems is concerned. That being said what I would like to emphasize here is that to be able to enter the job market you need fluent german which can be achieved with utmost dedication towards learning the language. Ofcourse Swiss German is a little different from German German but nonetheless the knowledge of it would be extremely beneficial. Start taking lessons if you haven't already. The language isn't a barrier that can't be overcome. If you find the coursework and cost suitable consider it and start working towards it. A little bit of hardwork in overcoming a challenge goes a long way.
