Want to pursue Masters in Industrial/Product Design

Hello Everyone,

Hope you all are doing well Smile

Its been 2.5 years since I have completed my Bachelors in Mechanical, and meanwhile in these years I've done freelancing (earned pretty well), applied for MSc in Germany (Got rejected from 2 due to less academic score) Neutral Job (that I was not willing to do but had and have to, to keep myself going) Have been a part of startup for almost a year (did a lot of 3D modelling and other stuff needed)

I knew this for a long time that somewhere in me there existed a creative and optimistic part to design new product usually mechanical and sometimes aesthetic one. For which I recently begin to realize that I must pursue Masters in design majoring Industrial/Product design in depth that makes a picture clear of designing processes from most of the aspect.

As a part of plan I have begun already to develop my skills (sketching, creativity, problem diagnosis, solution creation and all) but still something seems to be missing.

Every time I try try to search for university and see for the eligibility criteria, I feel how can I make through, how will I make make myself eligible, which university shall I opt for, which country shall I opt for.

And my ultimate question would be, which good university I can get admitted into? Scope is Global.

I hope I will be helped by the students and experts around the globe, I will be thankful.

Harbinger

Yes, mechanical design is a very rare major in the US. Only ASU has a program in that. But I have seen their graduates finally going to FEA and CAD companies.

The other product design programs are more artistic than engineering.

More on this later.
