Hi,

I am already in the US on F-2 visa. I have got admit for masters (FALL 2017) in Bioengineering at the University of Michigan, Dearborn. I have applied to 8 universities for masters program. I just got admit from one university, reject from 2 universities and not heard back from 5 of the universities.
I would like to change my visa status from F-2 to F-1. What are the chances of visa denial??

Regards,
Uthra

You should have no problem in doing the change - of course you may meet some questions from visa official.
