Is it worthwhile to study MIS in the US, after 7 years of work experience?
I have over 7.5 years of work experience as a SAP BI/HANA Consultant in an IT MNC in India and I am highly interested in pursuing MS in the US.

However, I have heard from many sources that there are Issues in Internship and Recruitment with my experience level.

Seasoned is good.......I don't see why it should be a problem. At the end, what matters is what you want to do. If you are really interested in grad school, too much experience is never an excuse.

cheers,

EE

I don't see a reason of why not to. I will have 7 years of work-ex before I plan to start.
There are as many opinions as there are people and sometimes more. Why would work-experience be a hindrance in getting an internship or job post graduation? Unless you want to become an astronaut after competing your MS, your previous experience will only help you, given you project your work experience properly.

All the best.
