Do you really want to do Aerospace?

I'll speak about America here. Getting jobs in the Aerospace industry is next to impossible for international students. Jobs require security clearance so you need to be a citizen or PR. Every Aero grad I know works in an ME role.

Also your list is extremely ambitious (I don't know about European universities). Every university is ambitious and some (Caltech, UCB) are out of reach.

I do not exist. So don't bother tagging me or sending PMs. I am so busy now that it took me 6 months to change my signature.

Idk dude I think ppl who want to do grad studies in aero and later on do a job related to core aero sector should avoid the US. I've been told by numerous friends that for aero ppl, scope for jobs in the US is extremely limited coz fields like aero are considered sensitive fields. Aero guys are also given a lot more 221Gs (administrative processing; ie. background checks) during their visa application compared to guys from other branches. So I'd suggest going to US only if u want to continue with mech. On the other hand, in EU, there are no such citizenship restrictions plus some really good places for work and research (Airbus, DLR - German Aerospace Center etc). With this in mind, I'd suggest the following european univs -

1> TU Delft (Possibly the best option) - World class and particularly known for aero; only downside is high tuition fees
2> ISAE Supaero -Very well known for aero; Again the downside is tuition fees. (France is particularly well known for its awesome aero work)
3> KTH Sweden - Pretty good option; again, it has tuition fees but I've heard scholarships are available
4> Linkoping University - Same as KTH
5> RWTH Aachen - Pretty awesome and u get the opportunity to do your thesis in places like DLR; Upside being no tuition fees (This might be the ideal option if you don't want to spend a lot of money); Dealbreaker - German requirement (Pretty much makes this option redundant)
6> TU Berlin - Same as RWTH
7> TU Munich - Same as RWTH
8> TUM Asia aerospace engg - Another option; although idk if you'd prefer it because you have to do the program in Singapore; Plus tuition fees charged

ETH, EPFL etc. are unattainable with your GPA and experience I feel (Plus strangely, I didn't find ETH or EPFL offering aerospace MS programmes). To conclude, I feel you should apply for TU Delft, ISAE (and some other options in France), KTH or Linkoping. If however, you do know German, this changes the whole game. You should then apply in German univs only since they are pretty good, economical and possibly offer the best ROI.

Cheers

I meant USA. I am not aware of the situation in Europe or elsewhere.

I do not exist. So don't bother tagging me or sending PMs. I am so busy now that it took me 6 months to change my signature.

Let me also tag HyD@ here.

1) Please mention as many details as possible about your academics, research and work-ex, in terms of projects worked on, technologies used, roles/responsibilities handled, papers published/presented, awards/honors obtained, etc. All those have to be put in the misc details section of your UniSearch profile if you expect any help on Edulix. Also, before requesting for profile evaluations, please go through this excellent post.

2) Please take some time out to read this and this thread in their entirety. PLEASE do that before asking questions about universities from a comparison perspective, or jobs, or coursework, or H-1B visas, or "placements", irrespective of which univ/department/program/major you're applying to.
