Why are you using 2 different user IDs? Confused

Anyway, I'll give you an eval, but please do comply with the instructions in point #1 below this post. Also go through the 2 threads I've linked to in point #2, by clicking on the words "this" that are in red.

GWU - safe
Syracuse - safe
Stevens - safe
UIC - safe
IIT-C - safe
UIUC - which program?

As you can see, because of the great work-ex you have, you'll get into most MS-MIS programs (and if you were so inclined to apply to them, even more than a few MBA programs). I don't know why you're applying to an MS in MIS instead of an MBA at this point in your career, but if you want to apply to MS-MIS programs, you should apply to the top ones. The ones I'll recommend are UW-Seattle, CMU, TAMU, Berkeley, Michigan, UIUC, NYU and the sort, not safe ones like GWU/Syracuse/Stevens/IIT-C. Although there is absolutely nothing wrong with applying to the latter set of programs, those are just too safe for you, and you can definitely get into much better programs, so aim higher.

P.S. I see you've tried to tag folks here. To tag someone here on Edulix, the square brackets enclosing the username of the person to be tagged are required, e.g. @[The_Observer] is how I can be tagged. Also, don't tag more than 5 people in any given post at a single time, otherwise nobody would be notified of the tag.

1) Please mention as many details as possible about your academics, research and work-ex, in terms of projects worked on, technologies used, roles/responsibilities handled, papers published/presented, awards/honors obtained, etc. All those have to be put in the misc details section of your UniSearch profile if you expect any help on Edulix. Also, before requesting for profile evaluations, please go through this excellent post.

2) Please take some time out to read these three threads in their entirety. PLEASE do that before asking questions about universities from a comparison perspective, or jobs, or coursework, or H-1B visas, or "placements", irrespective of which univ/department/program/major you're applying to.

I love to read, and then I regurgitate. I write - a lot - as my posts here and on other outlets would show. I do not make apologies for what I write (and how long it is). I do not sugarcoat things either. I don't tolerate vague questions, for any reasons - ignorance arising out of an inability to locate information when the necessary tools to do so (i.e. the internet, libraries, university websites, other forums/bulletin boards, etc.) are readily available, is not any kind of an acceptable excuse.

Thank you The_Observer for your valuable suggestions.

I am looking for low cost best value MIS program, as cost is a big factor for me (apart from the quality of the program), as it will be totally self funded.

I have shortlisted the below Universities for Fall '18:

UIUC - MSIM
Cincinnati -MSIS
Suny Buffalo- MIS
Tamu- MIS

Please provide any advice/eval. Do add any more universities if I missed any.

Hello Seniors,

I need some advice. In Spring 18, I got admit from
Syracuse (MSIM)
Stevens- MSIS (plus fellowship $10000)
UIC - MS MIS

UIUC- MSIM (result awaiting..will be declared on Nov 3)

In Fall 18 so far I have applied to UCin, and Suny Buffalo.

Stevens wants me confim in next 10 days as they are giving fellowship award.
Stevens is very costly, even after 10k rebate, tuition cost will be coming around 45k. Is it worth going to Stevens with this amount?
Or with my profile shall I wait for the results of UIUC,UCin,and Suny Buffalo.

My profile brief:
GRE-317,AWA-3.5, TOEFL-112, Work ex- 7yrs,strong LORs, UG(cgpa)- 7.57/10, strong extracurricular/sports background (mentioned in SOP)
