Hi, everyone!

My GRE Score is 312 (Q:160 V:152 AWA: 4.5).

My TOEFL score is 115 (R:30 L:30 S:26 W:29).

My aggregate till now is 76%. This is from Pune University.

My desired major is Computer Science with Data Science focus. While my preference is certainly Data Science Masters I'm also open to the idea of doing Computer Science while selecting the electives which relate to Data Science (as is possible in the case of USC where we can select most of the Data Science electives even when studying CS).

Project:-
I've completed a few mini - projects which are mainly focused on the data mining aspect (recommendation system and intelligent chatbot).

My Final Year project is related to ML but is currently under development.

Certifications:-
MTA Database Fundamentals and Networking Fundamentals
M

Research/Publication:-
None yet. But will publish a paper related to my project this semester (not sure whether will be published before application procedure).

Internship:-
One internship related to Data Analytics at IIML.

Universities Shortlisted:-
New York University - (M.S. in Data Science)
SUNY Stony Brook - (M.S. in Computer Science)
University of Southern California (M.S. in Computer Science)
Indiana University-Bloomington (M.S. in Data Science)
North Carolina State University (M.S. in Analytics)
Northwestern University (M.S. in Analytics)
University of Washington-Seattle Campus (M.S. in Data Science)

Are these universities too ambitious for my profile? If so, can someone please recommend which universities can be a better fit?

In most cases, applicants to quant-heavy programs such as analytics or data sciences are expected to have higher GRE scores. So, I'd recommend retaking the GRE and trying to achieve a higher quant score if possible.

1) Please mention as many details as possible about your academics, research and work-ex, in terms of projects worked on, technologies used, roles/responsibilities handled, papers published/presented, awards/honors obtained, etc. All those have to be put in the misc details section of your UniSearch profile if you expect any help on Edulix. Also, before requesting for profile evaluations, please go through this excellent post.

2) Please take some time out to read this and this thread in their entirety. PLEASE do that before asking questions about universities from a comparison perspective, or jobs, or coursework, or H-1B visas, or "placements", irrespective of which univ/department/program/major you're applying to.
