Hello.

Do check out these following two threads.

http://www.dcetech.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=59107
http://nsitlounge.in/bb/index.php?showtopic=4068

These should give you some info about applying for foreign interns at unis Smile

All the best.

On a side note, unless you're lucky be prepared to send a lot of mails before you receive a positive reply. Smile

Try and join IAESTE if you can. They schedule regular trainings and internships abroad. And its easier to get one through them than mailing professors and universities. You might not get one in the US but Europe for sure. There were atleast 10-15 people going from my college ( Manipal Inst. of Tech.) every semester.

Here's the site: http://www.iaeste.in

AIESEC is the other organisation that can get you internships in foreign countries, but they do not place Indians in USA, any other country you can try. this is the link http://www.aiesec.org It is a student-run orgainsation. AIESEC is available in most cities in India.

Busy right now - will get back as soon as possible - PM if you need anything urgent and I will try to reply

AIESEC interns usually go to offbeat places like Eastern Europe, China, Brazil and similar. Also they require you to be an active AIESEC member.

This is what I'm aware.

Actually i don't have too much idea about AIESEC. Because they started advertising their services in my last semester so i don't know much about what work they actually do. But anyway, IAESTE is the best way to go IMO.

AIESEC AND IAESTE both send to good places, and you should also look for universities that have signed MOU with your university.

IDEAS is all they need but still they think only Genius can give them that.

IAESTE fees changes yearly bt around 3k i guess life time joining. (I maybe wrong coz it changes and i remember mine one yr ago)

AIESEC is 3500 for 3 months....so its best to join it around sept....that time u can find more internships./////
