@manadi

German univs like all univs look for everything, even 12th ... I am also apping for Communication so u can try these univs>>>

http://www.edulix.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=66766

Since u are going for Phd dont apply to FH (applied sciences univs). Go for all the technical univs.

Univs having Communication engg. programmes in English are:

TU Darmstadt

TU Stuttgart

TU Munich

RWTH Aachen

ULM (course starts in summer i.e. March so deadlines over, u can try for 2010)

TU Hamburg (TUHH)

See if u can find more on http://www.DAAD.de

If u can plz post here as well.

Btw urs case is very similar to a friend of mine. I consider u are apping Communication with specialization related to chip designing, programming or VLSI. If yes, go for TUM, it has MSCE program with Communcation Electronics. Ur diploma will help but I dont think they'll count IT exp. as related exp.

You'll hv to learn Deutsche if u wanna enjoy ur stay. MS is in engllish for the international programmes but I dont know about Phd. In germany I think Phd candidates are directly selected by professors so u'll have to contact them directly I guess.

Best of luck.

@manadi

You hv much better profile than mine and I hv applied to all of them (except ULM) with a stupid hope Smile. So go ahead and apply. The problem is that we dont hv much seniors here from germany who can do accurate profile evaluations. Try to find out such forums where seniors from germany are active so that we can get some help.

Best of luck.
