I got an admit for EECN at USC. I20 amount is 55000$ and the duration is 24 months.

My funds are as follows:
15 Lac cash
4 lac policies
4 lac shares.

My dad files and ITR for 2 lacs and my mom files an ITR for 3 lacs. Right now I am having a problem with loan as I do not have my provisional degree as I am recent pass out. But, I have a sponsorship letter from my fathers employer which states his funds as close to 85000$. I have the same in affidavit form and I also have the concerned bank statements supporting the same. Also, at USC, the amount specified for tuition in I20 is 34128$ and it is for 21 credits. I just need to pay the fee for 6 more credits next year.

Is it advisable to go for VI with father's employer as a sponsor?

Also, will these funds shown by my father and the sponsor be enough for VI?

Please help me.

Add your father's employer. Just showing father's funds is not enough

Guys

I have finalized SUNY Buffalo ( MS Mechanical Engg. ) as my destination.
I 20 amount mentioned is around $33,443 which amounts to 18 Lakh something INR per year.
I am showing :-

1:- Mother and Father Current Bank Balance which is around 16.5 Lakh i.e $ 30K
2:- Bank Of India Loan amount of 7.5 Lakh i.e $ 13.5k
3 :- And for VI I will be adding my Brother'S Current Bank Balance of around 4 Lakhs i.e $7.3k Plus Standard Notary from Gov. Officals with a calculated amount of my house as extra cash which can be used to lend loan , if at all it is required.

As per my knowledge , Visa Officials needs a proof of 1.5 times the amount mentioned in the I 20 Statement. In this case I am just able to achieve the required amount. Now i just want to confirm that Whether i need to show some more finances or is the above mentioned finances sufficient enough . Request you all to kindly throw some light.
One more thing , My father has retired 3-4yrs back and My mother is a Lecturer at a Govt. School ( 8 LPA ) and My Brother works in PSU ( 8 LPA ). Is this sufficient for not raising any eyebrows ?

Will Work Experience matter because i am also working right now ? If Yes then will the salary slip suffice the purpose or we have to get the experience letter for the company ?

Is Money in INR and Dollar Equivalent necessary in Bank Doc. ?

tagging pramod.natraj and The_Statesman

P.S. :- I have already asked question related to finance part but right now i want to have so more clarity. Pls help.

Thanks

Hello,

I have been admitted into TAMU, College Station and I have scheduled my VI interview on June 27th. The I20 amount that is to be shown is 31,482. So for VI that would ideally be around $62,964 or 35 lac approx.

Finances I would be showing:
1. Bank loan sanction letter of around 30 lakhs from SBI (House was used as collateral)
2. FD-15 lakhs (starting 24th May 2013)
3. Savings Account-around 15 lakhs (will be deposited in a span of 1-2 days)

Regular transaction have been done in the Savings account in the range of 5-6 lakhs with amounts reaching to 20 lakhs at times. (Min. of 3 lakhs) Also proof for this recent deposit can be obtained as she would be getting the money from the firm she works for. (She has few shares in that company).

Am I on the safer side ? Neutral
