The level of German doesn't play a role in the selection. You need to only submit the B1 certificate at the time of enrollment. For the application, you can submit the certificate of the level that you have already completed.

spiketospica Can you help out the OP with the Infobank. You had encountered such an issue right?

himeelshah, you have to press "Submit" or "Update" (whichever is there) on both the pages. Did you do that?

Yeah ofcourse i pressed submit & continue button at the bottom.
I also tried with different browsers like chrome and firefox.
Logged out of my account couple of times and tried but still no luck.
So I dont think problem is on my end.
And those fields which are to be left out blank what am I supposed to write there?

GETHU
Hi
I wish to apply for Mechatronics/Energy systems course at FH Aachen for winter semester 2015.I have a problem -I don't have any German certificate yet(not even A1). I am currently working and will be able to learn German after March only(I am planning to start with German in April 1st week and complete B1 till June/July end).I want to know that can I apply with out any German certificate.
Even if I complete B1 till July I won't be able to apply for Mechatronics because the course is offered only in Winter semester (so I have to apply for winter 2016)and I will have to wait for 5-6 months more. So,plz suggest what should I do?
Can I apply to Mechatronics (or Energy systems )course without any German certificate and submit the ceritficate later.
Also should I apply to both the courses at the same time....will it hamper my chances by any means?

For the Mechatronics course, you can apply without any language certificate but you need to submit at least A2 by the time of enrollment. I am not sure though. This was the process last year. On their website, they are asking you to submit B1 at the time of application. Better send them a mail and clarify this.
For Energy Systems, AFAIK you need to submit at least A2 at the time of application and B1 at the time of enrollment. Check this website.

Read the FH Aachen thread in the Univ specific sub-forum. antidive has explained the weightage of GRE in the application process. AFAIK Quant, Verbal, AWA everything is taken into consideration while evaluating the application. For specific doubts, you can tag antidive.

rahul352 161 in quant should be good enough for the Mechatronics course if the competition is as it was last year. However, as with most admissions, it'll be still a gamble unless you have really high scores. It is much easier compared to getting into the Automotive course though, so you should apply. Without your German certification, shouldn't be an issue. Also do apply for the Energy systems but check what priority you assign each course when applying. A2 certification can be applied when enrolling, if you do get admitted. B1 is compulsory when you reach your third semester. Good luck!

i have also sent a mail to program coodinator for German requirements.Waiting for his reply.....
Could you also plz throw some light on job prospects there for Mechatronics....
If v have to compare Mechatronics vs Energy systems ,which one would U rate better in terms of Job prospects?
Actually ,as nimbus_2000 said that for Energy Systems I need to have A2 before applying....so I am thinking to set it as 2nd priority and Mechatronics as 1st.
Also plz tell me what to fill in "German Knowledge" column while filling the application form.I am planning to apply soon as application opens i.e Jan 2015(at that time I won't be having any knowledge of German ;I am palnning to learn german after March).

in the application's ''specific documents to be uploaded' section, what documents are acceptable for 'work experience'? will a copy of my appointment letter and latest salary slip do?
