Hi yogi !!
I was told by my friend about this forum and I just found what I wanted.

Was very informative !! thanks a ton.

I just have a few queries regarding the financials for the visa

I will be taking loan for my studies. I Should have to show only the first year expenses right ?? and moreover my SB accounts are with balances around 30,000 and can I borrow money and put into mine and my dad's account and show the amount for about 6.5Lacs. I am afraid whether like they may ask for source of those funds and things like that ?? I can prepare certificates that I borrowed also there are few transactions involving some money in my account. I just want to know like will they ask for any other FD or that the money should remain in the account for a longer tenure ??
hope I made my point clear, thanks in advance !!

@rranjith_kum

Show money for 2 years that will be good. Here normally people dont check the transactions, they just see the final amount(some info from other friends, not sure). If you just show one year amount it will create some problem for you since nowadays they have changed the rule a lot, not like my times. Even some of my juniors have to show amount in German banks from India(Embassy will help in that, but you have to run behind it). So show 10lakhs+ (say 700*24 euros). Moreover different 'Einwohneramt'(visa office) have different rules in Germany regarding the extension of visa in Germany. So I will say show as much money as you can, i think they wont be worried much about source since they wont stamp your visa without showing one year expenses and after coming here they will only stamp visa for the time for which the amount in your bank/700 (700euro depends on place, some place 643euro).

@robosom,
I am the same 'yogi' in roboticsindia

Hi Yogi.

I have a few queries. MS - MBA TUHH & NIT

1. You mentioned about the TOEFL date requirement of the VISA to be not older than 6 months. IS it true for all VISA offices or we can hope for some respite at some offices. And suppose I am applying for this FALL 2009.
thne my toefl should be earliest by..? btw my toefl is april 08 and gre may 07
wud they suffice?

2. I opened the application page (online) it asks for three choices. In it its mentioned MS ans MS in NIT which to choose. How many to choose of the three options we are allowed.
@yogi...

One more related query the application requirements include job ex proof letter.
it states duration and nature of work.

I mean the experince letter has the job duration but the HR dosent issue the nature of work certi...?
Would u plz provide any sample template for the same
@yogi--->

1. What do they mean by this the class 12th mark sheet or what???

The application must include an officially authenticated copy of the student´s university entrance qualification, i.e. general certificate of secondary education or high school leaving certificate depending on your country´s educational system.

2. Are there any special requirements about the transcripts . It mentions that the transcript should have hours earned etc and detailed marks.
My transcript has Course name and marks earned in XX/100 for individual courses. Do i require any special docs i.e conversion docs or details etc .

thnx.

1. Call VFS office or embassy and enquire, they changed the rules. After my time i heard it became one year. But it changes from embassy to embassy.

2. If you want to do MBA also then choose MS+NIT otherwise MS. But you should have an MS admit to do MBA in NIT.

German resumes requires duration of work written in reverse chronological order. So take letter from HR showing the date of working and write in your resume you sent the details about the works you had done in that time.

1. You should sent your 12th marksheet. Remember to do cross sign and seal for authenticity as the one we does for US. You have to do that for transcripts,reco etc..

Entrance qualification means the way in which you entered your B.Tech(they used Entrance exams like IITJEE etc.. or your 12th marksheet). Be ready to have proof for that. But if you dont have proof just sent your 12th marksheet(although you have entered through an entrance)

2. That transcript is OK. In this thread i mentioned about that. They asked for the explanation of grading in the college for me. So I sent the explanation and transcripts. Since in your case it is out of 100, you dont have to sent it(if they need it they ask for that).

your school authority, same as US application. Get it cross signed and sealed from head of the school.
