That will be enough. Please tag seniors in your profile evaluation thread only. If you keep on posting at random places, people will only get irritated and may not reply at all.

deepansi aggarwal this thread is definitely not the right place and this is for U.K., Europe , Asian & Australia application. Please create an appropriate thread at US profile evaluations for MBA/MIS with your list of selected universities.

As per info received from my university, I would be spending nearly 200 Euros on groceries.

My question is don't we have something like monthly mess or canteen in Germany ? Do we have to cook all three meals? I'm not talking about hotels/restaurants.

And if I go for that option would that be expensive( having breakfast & lunch outside)?

I know we have to cook ourselves( 1 meal/day is fine) but honestly I would prefer spending that time studying rather than cooking all day along.

Best Regards,
Mumba.

It depends on the city which you would live, I spend max.60 euros monthly on this.

We dont have mess here, we have mensa. This is similar to a canteen, they provide only lunch here. So you need to cook your breakfast and dinner or eat in a restaurant which is much expensive than you cook.

And if I go for that option would that be expensive( having breakfast & lunch outside)?

It would cost you around min.5-10 euros/per meal depends on how much you eat and what you prefer.

Nah, you'd be surprised how cheap some of the stuff are. As scofield1144 said, 50-60€ per month seems reasonable.

You can eat in the Mensa, which is cheap by German standards. An average lunch would cost around 3€ (here in Karlsruhe). For breakfast, you can usually have cereal or bread.

If you go to a usual restaurant/pub (non-fancy), you can expect to spend up to 10€ per meal, and I wouldn't do that every day. If you're bored, you can get a Döner or a Yufka from the many Turkish kebap stores.

You really should cook at least once a day, you know...keep yourself grounded!
